HAVELOCK HILLS GARDEN
From a bare site this garden has been turned into a plant lovers paradise. The site had its own nursery during the instillation; full of transplanted iris, dahlia, hydrangeas, hostas, bulbs that were planted from the owners previous garden.
This design was about creating a beautiful garden for plant lovers that are keen gardeners, it had to be full of flowers all year round. In addition to this, entertaining spaces, a pool and a large edible garden were a part of the design brief and the views were to be kept. Set on an exposed site with poor drainage, poor soil – installing over the winter and spring period was a challenge. Seasonal interest is key, you will find flowers all year round in this garden.
